The caprice castanet corresponds to our highest range of castanets. Its manufacture is 100% handmade, based on pressed paper, engraved with our seal JUAN VELA SEVILLA. This castanet is characterized for being the lightest of all ranges. Thanks to its large resonance box we obtain a serious sound with great acoustic quality. Its more rounded shape allows a better adaptation to the hand. In conclusion: they almost play themselves.
The caprice castanets can be chosen from several colors: black with white and grained-green, black with white and grained-blue, white, grained-red white, grained-blue white, grained-green white, grained-white red, grained-white green and grained-white mauve.
You can choose between a normal snare that will provide a deep sound and a double snare that will be even more serious. Regarding the aesthetic of the castanet, you can also take the point off of the top part of the soundbox if you wish. This modification does not affect the sound of the castanets. Another aspect to highlight is that the price includes our special cover made by hand with imitation leather, sheepskin and metallic finishes. You just have to choose one of the ten colors available.
