Like the rest of our castanets for teachers, this model also offers high comfort while playing them. Their light weight and long ear make them easier to use for long sessions. They are entirely handmade and finally engraved with our brand: CASTAÑUELAS DEL SUR.
These castanets are made from beech wood, to which a stain is applied, in order to achieve an appearance similar to Granadillo. The cutting of this type of wood is completely controlled and certified by organisations dedicated to that purpose. In this way we can make sure that you’re buying an environmentally friendly item. This type of wood gives the castanet a fine and harmonious sound that manages to surprise its listeners. You must keep in mind that being natural wood, you may find that the castanets are not completely uniform and the grain pattern will be distinct on each one.
If you prefer to remove the point from the top part of the soundbox, this modification only affects the aesthetic of the castanet. You can also personalise your castanets by choosing the strings and the special case that the castanets come with.. This is handmade with faux leather, fleece lining and metal clasps.
They are only made with a normal soundbox.
