Special Castanets

In our professional range, we have a series of models that are especially recommended for teachers. This castanet is more elongated, with a lighter weight and narrower, more curved ears than the professional range. Since they are lighter with a long ear they make it easier for people that have to play for long periods of time.

It should be noted that we are responsible for making the castanets for the Spanish National Ballet and for leading national and international flamenco and classical dance schools.

In addition, many of our pieces have ended up in the hands of great eminent flamenco and dance artists like Antonio the Dancer, María Rosa, Mariemma, Pilar de Oro and Alfredo Gil, Enrique “El Cojo”, Realito, Jose Antonio, Aída Gómez, Matilde Coral and the great castanet concert performer Jose de Udaeta.

Each and every one of our professional castanets are handmade and come with a special case to guarantee better conservation. This is also handmade with faux leather, a fleece lined interior and metal clasps.
