This miniature model of castanets is made specifically at the request of the concert performer Olga Pericet.. They are handmade with resin-impregnated wood sheets.
They are played with the thumbs by way of clicks and they have a very particular sound which makes them ideal for solo playing. They are normally used for regional dances and very special occasions.
These castanets are made in one size and with a normal soundbox, but you can personalise your pulgaretas depending on your aesthetic preferences. Select the colour of the strings and the case, which are included with the castanets.
They are only made with a normal soundbox.
